Supply chain due diligence · China
Check who you are actually paying, before you pay.
We read the Chinese company filings and tell you whether to go ahead. Two pages, 48 hours, £250.
The reading
This is what you get
A registry readout, seven checks, and a verdict on the first line. The company below is illustrative; the fields and the format are exactly what you receive.
Ningbo Brightline Houseware Co., Ltd
Registry readout · extractSource: National Enterprise Credit Information Publicity System; China Judgements Online. Illustrative composite.
Four people on the payroll and nothing paid up against ten million yuan of registered capital rarely means fraud. It usually means the factory in the photographs belongs to somebody else, and that two creditors are ahead of you at the company receiving your money.
Output
Every report ends in a decision
Three outcomes, each with its reason in one sentence. You should be able to act on the first line without reading the rest.
Do not proceed on the current terms.
The counterparty is registered for trading only, with no paid-up capital and four people on its payroll. Payment is directed to a third entity carrying two open enforcement cases.
Who does the work
Jonathan Jianing Qi
Transaction advisory at PwC in Beijing, including on-site financial, IT and HR due diligence for a Fortune Global 100 acquirer. Behind that, two decades of management consulting across M&A integration, divestiture and organisational design. We have run a supply chain company in China since 2025, reading these filings to protect our own money.
Every report is written and signed by the person who did the work. A UK company, an English law contract, and a liability position stated on the face of our terms rather than buried in them.
